Jeff Bezos Sells $2 Billion of Amazon Shares: Elon Musk Reacts!

Bezos' Big Sell Off

So it appears my good friend Jeff Bezos has decided to cash in on some of his Amazon shares. According to a recent financial filing he sold a whopping $2.08 billion worth of shares over the past few days. Now that's what I call clearing out the inventory!

Trading Plan Shenanigans

Apparently Bezos had this whole trading plan set up in November. He even made it public in Amazon's 2023 annual filing. The plan involves selling a cool 50 million shares before Jan. 31 2025. I guess he's trying to make some room in his bank account for more trips to space.

Jeff's Speedy Share Selling

This isn't the first time Bezos has sold off some Amazon shares oh no. Last week he sold nearly 12 million shares worth over $2 billion. Looks like Jeff is really trying to diversify his portfolio or maybe he just wants to swim in a giant pile of cash. Can't say I blame him it does sound quite appealing.

Ah the power of love. Bezos' stock sales have coincided with his big move to Miami to be closer to his fiancée Lauren Sanchez and his parents. Not to mention being closer to the operations of his baby Blue Origin. I can relate to that I moved to Mars to be closer to my Roadster. Priorities people!

You know I have to hand it to Jeff. He knows how to make it rain. But hey if selling off billions of dollars' worth of stock is what it takes to have a good time who am I to judge? Besides it's all fun and games until someone starts building a giant robot army. Then things get interesting.
