SpaceX and Neuralink Are Leaving Delaware Following Court Ruling

Texas Welcomes SpaceX

In a bold move SpaceX has officially filed to change its incorporation location from Delaware to Texas. Elon Musk the mastermind behind SpaceX expressed his excitement about the relocation and even gave some advice to other businesses still incorporated in Delaware 'Move to another state as soon as possible!'

Neuralink Follows Suit

Not to be outdone Musk's other venture Neuralink is also in the process of shifting its incorporation location from Delaware to Nevada. This comes in the wake of a Delaware Chancery Court ruling that ordered Tesla another one of Musk's companies to rescind his 2018 pay package. Musk's strong preference for moving his businesses out of Delaware is clear.

A Vote for Texas

Musk is determined to make the move to Texas official for Tesla as well. He has promised that the company will hold a shareholder vote to get approval for changing its site of incorporation. Texas looks set to become a hub for Musk's ventures with this monumental shift in corporate location.

A Battle in Court

While Musk plans his decisive move to Texas he is also gearing up for a legal battle. He is expected to file for an appeal to the Delaware State Supreme Court regarding his pay package. Losing his options is a possibility but he won't give up without a fight.

"X" Marks the Spot

Even before the court ruling Musk had already left Delaware behind. After spearheading the $44 billion buyout of Twitter in 2022 he rebranded it as "X" and relocated its site of incorporation to Nevada. Musk is no stranger to making big moves and leaving his mark on the business world.

No Comment from SpaceX

As of now neither SpaceX nor Musk have responded to requests for comment on the relocation. It's clear that they are focused on executing the move smoothly and efficiently. Perhaps they are too busy mapping out their interstellar ambitions to worry about PR statements at the moment.
