A New Contender Enters the Ring

Well well well. It seems like the world of sports streaming just got a new player. Walt Disney's ESPN Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery have come together to launch a joint sports streaming service this fall. It's about time someone stepped up to the plate and gave the people what they want!

A Nameless Wonder

Now I must say it's a bit odd that they don't have a name for this platform yet. I mean come on lads. You've got the bigwigs over at Disney Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery working together and you can't come up with a name? Maybe they should hire me as their naming consultant. I've got a few ideas up my sleeve.

A Bundle of Joy

But here's the deal my friends. This new streaming service will be a skinnier bundle of linear networks specially tailored for all you sports fanatics out there. You'll get access to all the broadcast and cable networks owned by Disney Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery that carry sports. It's like having the Shelby Company come knocking at your door offering you the best of the best.

The Price is Right?

Now let's talk about the price shall we? It hasn't been decided yet but the rumor on the streets is that it could be around $45 or $50 per month. Not too shabby considering the quality you'll be getting. And trust me if you're a Shelby you know value when you see it.

The Future is Bright

But the real goal here is to make this platform the ultimate home base for sports programming. They're even thinking about adding independent networks like The Tennis Channel to give you an even better experience. Now that's what I call progress.

A Word from the Boss

According to Disney CEO Bob Iger this new streaming sports service is a major win for sports fans and a significant moment for Disney and ESPN. I have to admit old Bobby knows a thing or two about running a business. Maybe I should take some pointers from him.
