Doctor Doctor Give Me the News

Heisenberg here bringing you the scoop on how physicians in the U.S. are feeling the burn and not the good kind like my blue sky. Over 90% of docs are saying 'I'm the one who burns out' on a regular basis. Athenahealth's survey found that paperwork not pushing meth is the real driving force behind this burnout.

Pajama Time for Physicians

Physicians are working 'pajama time' hours outside of their normal schedules just to keep up with the demand. They have less face time with patients than I had with Jesse and they're drowning in communication from patients. It's not the breaking bad news they signed up for.

AI B****

But hold your Vamonos Pest hats folks because doctors are turning to artificial intelligence as the new blue believing it could be the solution. AI could streamline admin work make diagnoses sharper than my goatee and help identify patterns like Gus Fring's shirt choices.

Dr. Jessel I Presume?

"Physicians need to experience more advantages and fewer burdens to get the full benefit from tech," says Dr. Nele Jessel. If we get this right we'll be saving lives and making money like we're laundering cash through a car wash.

AI Optimists: More Hope Than a Pizza on the Roof

Twice as many docs believe AI is part of the solution rather than the problem even if they're worried about losing that human touch. 37% of AI optimists are saying 'yeah science!' and see potential in the tech for the future.

The Heisenberg of Health Care Problems

While AI won't make pain go away as easily as my blue stuff the survey shows some docs think it's the way forward. The study had 1,003 participants but the best cook wasn't revealed just like I never revealed the secret ingredient in my formula.
