Duke Nukem Takes on Oil Stocks
Hey folks! It's Duke Nukem here and I've got some news for you. According to VanEck CEO Jan van Eck oil stocks are getting the short end of the stick. But seriously who cares about some black goo when we can blow stuff up right?
Cash Flow Yields and Semiconductors
Van Eck claims that oil companies are the next best cash flowing companies right after semiconductors. Cash flowing companies? Ha! I blow up aliens for a living those are real cash making moves! But hey if those oil companies are trading at double digit cash flow yields maybe it's time to invest some alien dismembering money into them.
Nobody Cares about Oil
Jan van Eck says it best: "No one cares. No one cares." It's like he's been playing Duke Nukem Forever and realized that the world is more interested in watching me kick alien ass than worrying about some barrels of crude oil.
The VanEck Oil Services ETF
Van Eck's firm runs an ETF called the VanEck Oil Services ETF. Sounds like they're trying to make some sweet cash from oil but so far it's been a bumpy ride. The ETF's biggest holdings are Schlumberger Halliburton and Baker Hughes. Come on guys those names sound like they belong in a video game not some boring oil business.
Oil Stocks Vs. S&P 500
While the S&P 500 is up over 5% this year oil stocks have been left in the dust. But let me tell you even though I'm known for my massive biceps and killer one liners I can still analyze the stock market. And from what I see the oil market might have some potential for a turnaround just like a pixelated alien when I'm done with it.
WTI Crude's Best Performance Yet
Hey guess what? WTI crude just had its best weekly performance since September! It climbed 6% and settled at $76.84 a barrel. That's some serious cash right there! Maybe I should consider investing in oil after all. Duke Nukem the alien kicker and oil connoisseur!

Oil stocks might be undervalued, but Duke Nukem is priceless. Who needs money when you have the ultimate badass?
