Microsoft partners with Mistral AI to unlock new commercial opportunities and offer ChatGPT-style conversational assistant "Le Chat"

May the AI Be With You

As The Mandalorian I've seen my fair share of advanced technology but Microsoft's alliance with Mistral AI is truly out of this galaxy. Investing in Mistral's 2 billion euro business to expand to global markets and unlock new commercial opportunities with generative AI products is a bold move even for a bounty hunter like me.

The Chat is Strong With This One

Microsoft's push to have Mistral's large language models available on Azure for "Le Chat" – their multilingual conversational assistant – brings a whole new meaning to understanding Huttese. If Le Chat whispers "This is the way" you better listen because trust me you don't want to face the AI dark side alone.

Brad Smith: The AI Jedi

Brad Smith of Microsoft calling the partnership with Mistral AI an "important" signal of support for European technology is like me saying Baby Yoda is the cutest being in the galaxy – it's just obvious. With Mistral AI joining forces with Microsoft it's a win win for the tech universe.

Galactic Antitrust Pressures

Facing EU scrutiny over its investment in OpenAI Microsoft's move with Mistral AI shows they're ready to showcase the diversity in their AI portfolio. Dedicating funds to AI models for public sector services in Europe is like me dedicating funds to shiny Beskar armor – it's essential for the galaxy's growth.

AI Frenzy Strikes the Galaxy

With tech giants like Google and Amazon ramping up AI investments the galaxy is in the midst of an AI gold rush. Hit hyperspace last week with record highs in global markets all thanks to the power of AI chipmakers like Nvidia. It's times like these I wish I had an AI droid instead of IG 11 by my side.
