TUI Gives London the Boot

In a not so surprising turn of events TUI the German travel giant has decided to ditch its share listing in London. Shareholders voted overwhelmingly in favor of moving the company's shares to Frankfurt's MDAX. Looks like London has lost its charm for TUI shareholders. Meow!

Liquidity Shifts to Germany

According to TUI's Chief Financial Officer Mathias Kiep a lot of the liquidity and volumes of TUI shares have already shifted from the UK to Frankfurt. It seems like TUI shareholders want to swim in the stronger pool of liquidity. Smart move if you ask me. Meow!

Prominent in MDAX

Some shareholders believe that by moving to Frankfurt TUI will become more prominent in the MDAX giving it a stronger foothold in the German market. It's all about being at the top of the tower just like I am. Meow!

Challenging Times in the UK

The UK market hasn't been the friendliest for companies lately and TUI shareholders have taken notice. With uncertainties and challenges in the UK market environment TUI prefers to set sail in calmer waters. Who can blame them? Meow!

London's Declining Fortune

London has been facing a decline in companies listing and high profile IPO rejections. TUI's decision to leave the London Stock Exchange is another blow to the city's reputation as a financial hub. Perhaps London needs a cat with boots to save the day. Meow!

London Still Has a Chance

Despite the setbacks it's important to remember that London still has something to offer. It may be trading at a discount compared to the rest of Europe but it shouldn't be counted out just yet. There's always hope for a comeback just like there's always hope for me to find more milk. Meow!
